Owner and head instructor of Independent Dance, Stephen brings 35 years of experience in professional dance and teaching, specializing in over 30 partner dance styles. An international Latin dance champion, he has trained in the UK, US, Spain, and the Dominican Republic. As an examiner and world championship adjudicator, he continues to shape the global dance scene. Passionate about Sensual Bachata and Salsa, he now shares his expertise with dancers of all levels in Mexico.
Franco-Senegalese dance artist with a strong foundation in Traditional Kizomba and Cuban Salsa. Recognized for international performances and teaching across Africa — Senegal, Mauritania, Benin, Gambia, and Morocco. Now based in Mexico City as a resident instructor at Independent Dance Studio, sharing the richness of Afro-Latin dance culture through weekly classes and events.
